For our location in Breda, Optimum Group Vila Etiketten, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Account manager. You know how to create new partnerships and acquire new customers on profitable terms in order to expand the portfolio. You build up a relationship network and translate market needs into ready-made sustainable solutions for customers. You are a fully-fledged discussion partner who thinks along and converts the customer's question into a solution. In doing so, you will be supported by our enthusiastic and proactive Sales Support team.

Optimum Group is a versatile group of specialised printing companies located in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark. Together, we offer a total package of self-adhesive labels and flexible packaging solutions. Our production locations in the Netherlands are located in Alkmaar, Almere, Bladel, Breda, Enschede, Oud Gastel and Tilburg.

What we offer

As Account manager, you will be focused on acquiring new packages and/or customers. A sales plan is drawn up as a guideline and you will be given the scope to create partnerships with existing and new customers. In doing so, you will have the following responsibilities:

Acquire new customers on profitable terms in accordance with the sales plan, in order to expand the portfolio and achieve sales targets;
Establishing and expanding relationships with customers and relevant internal parties with the aim of achieving the desired positioning;
Recognising and creating sales opportunities with customers and carrying out sales (promotion) activities according to the sales plan;
Conducting market research in known and unknown branches and segments;
Preparing (periodic) reports regarding market, portfolio and customer information;
Achieving the highest possible level of customer satisfaction;
Correct and complete administration of customer and price agreements and other customer information, such that the inside sales colleagues have up-to-date data at their disposal at all times.
Being and remaining a technical and commercial beacon for internal and external contacts.

In this role, you work a lot together with your colleagues in the inside sales department. You will report to the Sales Manager of Optimum Group Vila Etiketten. Travel is part of this role. You will mainly work for customers of Optimum Group Vila Etiketten, but you will also have contact with other Optimum Group branches from economies of scale.

What we demand

HBO working and thinking level;
Work experience in a commercial position;
You are enthusiastic, result- and customer-oriented and have good commercial insight;
You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to operate at different levels within and outside the organisation;
You show a lot of initiative and perseverance;
You operate independently, but know how to integrate into the existing hierarchy;
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing;
You preferably live in the south of the country.
