As an Account Manager, you will be focused on acquiring and managing (a portfolio of) customers. A sales plan is drawn up as a guideline and you will be given the scope to create partnerships with existing and new customers. In doing so, you will have the following responsibilities:
Acquire new customers on profitable terms in accordance with the sales plan, in order to build the portfolio and achieve sales targets;
Maintaining and expanding relationships with customers and relevant internal parties with the aim of achieving the desired positioning;
Recognising and creating sales opportunities with customers and carrying out sales (promotion) activities according to the sales plan;
- Conducting market research in unfamiliar industries and segments;
- Preparing (periodic) reports regarding market, portfolio and customer information;
- Achieving the highest possible level of customer satisfaction;
Correct and complete administration of customer and price agreements and other customer information, such that the Sales & Sales Support colleagues have up-to-date data at their disposal at all times.
In this role, you work closely with your colleagues in the office. You will report to the Managing Director of Optimum Group Megaflex Bladel B.V.
Travel is part of this role. You will primarily work for clients of Optimum Group Megaflex Bladel B.V., but you will also liaise with other Optimum Group branches from economies of scale have.
