Optimum Group™ is looking for a Support Engineer like you to strengthen our dedicated team. As part of our IT team, you play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the systems that seamlessly connect our 18 locations across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Denmark.
What will you do?
As a Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries within our international organization. You ensure that our employees can work efficiently with their systems and applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing our IT infrastructure. We are looking for a full-time (40-hour) independent professional whose tasks will include:
- Providing first-line IT support and independently resolving incidents and user inquiries;
- Proactively monitoring our entire IT infrastructure across all locations;
- Identifying and anticipating potential technical issues before they cause impact;
- Managing and maintaining workstations, including computers, laptops, and peripherals;
- Keeping software and systems up to date;
- Recording and documenting all support requests in our ticketing system;
- Identifying trends in incidents and proposing structural improvements;
- Handling IT onboarding for new employees;
- Collaborating closely with international IT teams and external partners.
