Are you an experienced Functional Application Manager with knowledge of ERP systems and production processes, and would you like to play an important role within an international manufacturing organization with multiple locations across Europe? Optimum Group™ is looking for a Functional Application Manager like you to strengthen our driven team. As part of our IT team, you will be essential to the management and continuous improvement of our ERP systems, which seamlessly connect our 17 locations across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.

As a Functional Application Manager, you will be responsible for managing the core applications within our ERP systems (Business Central, Cerm and C3). You will manage and improve the functionality of these applications in close cooperation with the relevant business and process owners across all locations. This includes financial processes, costing and quotation processes, order processing, planning, prepress and production processes. You will ensure that our applications optimally support our business processes and help users get maximum value from the systems.

We are looking for a new colleague who is available full-time (40 hours) and able to work independently. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and optimizing the ERP systems Business Central, Cerm and C3;
Acting as the point of contact for functional questions and user support;
Identifying business requirements and improvement opportunities and translating these into functional solutions;
Coordinating changes, updates and implementations in cooperation with external suppliers and application specialists;
Monitoring the continuity, performance and quality of the applications;
Supporting key users and end users in making effective use of the systems;
Creating and maintaining functional documentation, procedures and work instructions;
Testing new functionalities, releases and system changes;
Identifying opportunities for improvement within business processes and applications;
Working closely with international IT teams, various departments across the Group and external partners.

What we demand

We are looking for a new colleague who recognizes themselves in the following profile:

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in IT, Business Administration or Computer Science;
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage;
Knowledge of production processes within a manufacturing environment;
Experience with ERP implementations, change management and process optimization;
Ability to bridge the gap between business and IT;
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; German is an advantage;
Strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.
