Are you technically minded and do you have a heart for innovation and sustainability? Optimum Group™ is looking for an experienced System Engineer like you to join our driven team. As part of our IT team, you will be indispensable in maintaining and improving the systems that seamlessly connect our 19 offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.

What you will do

We are looking for a new colleague to work full-time (40h) and independently where your duties will include the tasks below:

Manage, configure and fine-tune VMware environments;
Effectively apply Microsoft 365 tools to enhance our internal processes;
Implement and manage cloud solutions via Azure;
Ensure the continuity and security of our IT infrastructure;
Provide support and act as a trusted IT partner for colleagues and stakeholders.

What we demand

We are looking for a new colleague who recognises himself in the description below:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role;
In-depth knowledge of and experience with VMware, Microsoft 365 and Azure;
A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team;
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;
A solution-oriented attitude and the drive to continuously improve.
